McLarnon Feeds enjoyed another very successful year at the RUAS Winter Fair in December. The Free Prize Draw on the McLarnon Feeds stand proved, as always, to be a popular attraction with more than 200 entries. The success of McLarnons Dairy Consultancy package was illustrated on the new-look stand, which is complimentary to McLarnon customers and is tailored to the farmers needs for feed rationing, target setting, feed efficiency monitoring and financial & fertility benchmarking.

McLarnon feed technologies such as Vistacell Live Yeast, Nu-Start Calf gut conditioner and Ultrasorb mycotoxin absorbent were also highlighted on the stand, backed up with various customer testimonials from across the Province.

The main discussion points between dairy farmers and McLarnon advisers included improving feed efficency, fresh calved cow nutrition, the importance of forage quality & intake, and analysis of monthly milk recordings through McLarnon Milk Monitor.

All visitors on the stand were invited to enter a Free Prize Draw. The six prize winners of a £100 voucher each were:
